How to Achieve Permanent Financial Prosperity

One of the most desirous needs of man is that of finance. This need can be so intense, that some individuals can go to any extent to acquire wealth and prosperity. We must however realize the fact that God has made sufficient provision for his Children to become prosperous and live in happiness. These provisions however come with certain conditions attached.

Salvation
The soul of an individual is more precious to God than silver or gold. Until a man becomes saved, the issue of wealth and prosperity remains a mirage. God requires genuine salvation of the soul before he can unfold the abundant treasures from above. A man who is not born again can never receive the keys to prosperity.

The liberal soul shall be made fat
When an individual is stingy, it possibility of such a person receiving more from God is greatly hampered. A look at some individuals who are exceedingly rich, will indicate some measure of selflessness. They are willing to give to the needy and less privilege around them. I am always amazed by the humane nature of Bill Gate towards the plight of children in Africa.

He has consistently contributed billions of dollars in the support of communicable disease in Nigeria and other developing countries. The more we give to others, the more God will continue to shower us with unusual prosperity. It is a natural law which can never be broken.

Be contented with what you have
When a man is not satisfied with what God has blessed him with, the tendency is for such individual to become dubious and frustrated. The book of 1st Timothy 6:6 tells us: “But godliness with contentment is great gain” What this implies, is that an individuals prosperity is deeply rooted in the level of contentment he/she possesses.

Appreciation
What we fail to appreciate will ultimately depreciate with time. When you ignore the fact that God is the giver of wealth and fail to acknowledge him in your life, your presumed wealth may depreciate with time. We must remember to thank God always, because it is he that gives us power to get wealth. Some people believe that whatever they have acquired in life is a direct function of their effort and sweat. On the contrary, nothing can be achieved on earth without the help of God.

Passion
The level of passion we have for something will determine the extent to which we go after it. There must be a strong desire to please God before he can open his good treasure on our behalf. Passion is a more intense form of love, and the passion we have for God must supersede that for material possession.
