Frenship ISD director of finance receives state leadership award
Frenship ISD introduced that Lela Vela, FISD director of finance, has been selected as a 2022 Increase Award recipient by the Texas Affiliation of College Small business Officers.
Vela is one of only 7 community schooling administrators throughout the state of Texas to obtain the award this year, in accordance to a information launch from the district.
Vela and the other recipients of the Rise Award were being chosen primarily based on their leadership traits, achievements, and their wish to carry on rising their job. The award also acknowledges the recipients as long term leaders who are on the rise in the university business neighborhood and occupation.
Vela has been with the Frenship spouse and children for 10 decades, serving in numerous roles inside of the Frenship ISD Business Workplace which include Accountant, Coordinator of Accounting, and now Director of Finance. Not only is Vela an energetic member of TASBO, earning their highest certification of Registered Texas University Organization Administrator, but she also participates in different neighborhood and Frenship committees and serves as a mentor to younger small business industry experts and students.

As a Rise Award receiver, Vela was honored in entrance of college business enterprise leaders throughout Texas at the 2022 TASBO Have interaction Meeting Awards Luncheon.
